Your Choice

Each individual’s healing journey and response to trauma is unique, making the criminal justice system challenging to navigate. The Sendero Centre is here to empower you to make your own choices and define your experience, regardless of how the criminal justice process frames it.

You are not alone—we are here to support you every step of the way.

Your Healing Process

Every healing journey is deeply personal, and each individual’s experience is uniquely their own.

For some, the criminal justice process may become a central part of this journey, offering steps toward closure and justice. For others, it may play a smaller role or be entirely separate, with healing unfolding along a different path.

Your Safe Place

The Sendero Centre’s Police + Court Support program is your safe space. We are committed to providing a place where you can explore your options, navigate the justice system, and process your experience.

Our dedicated support worker is here to listen and stand by you as you consider or move through the criminal justice process. As your advocates and trusted source of information, we offer a steady, supportive presence every step of the way.
